Congratulations – the project is complete! Your deliverables have all been accepted and you have a very happy customer.

All that remains are some final closeout steps.

Any remaining tasks in the schedule that are not already shown as complete should be statused.

It is important to gather as much schedule related information as possible. This includes not just the final Microsoft Project schedule, but also any baseline documentation, change analysis and documentation, and any other documents that could be helpful on future projects. Your organization may have a specific way that this information is captured or made available to future projects.

When you hold your Lessons Learned session with your team and key stakeholders, anything related to the development, maintenance or reporting of schedule information should be documented.
